Hi, thank you for your comment and further insight into Toledo. How I envy you, I would love to live in Spain for a while and learn more about the local culture and live in the picturesque countryside.

Toledo is one of the world's towns with genuine olden days' flair. Just look at photos, videos and TV documentaries of this location and you will believe me... Everybody says that you feel like diving into the long ago past in this ancient city which still has a town wall. Besides, it is so very Spanish. I lived in Spain for a while and missed to see this picturesque Spanish town, which is famous for the manufacturing of the Toledo sword and Toledo jewelry. Now I stay on Tenerife Island from where it is possible to get cheap flight connections from nearby cities, such as Madrid. Mark, my word...Toledo is on my wish list of travel.
By the way, there is a man sitting on the beach front near Lido Lago Martianez. He is employed by a shop almost opposite the chapel Hermita San Telmo Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife. He makes intricate, little jewels in the old Toledo style, while you watch him, where he sits outside. I am the proud owner of a Toledan brooch, which I love. So guess the possibilities to trace even more of this unusual old Spanish craft in the city of its birth...
Of course, there a hunt for genuine old swords is an interesting challenge for collectors.
